Music Design Glass Ball With Glitter and Pearl Finish Ornament
Classical music is the joy of many people's lives, and it is always fun to inject some of it into the holiday spirit. There are a lot of music and instrument themed Christmas tree decorations out there for anyone looking to set up a tuneful tree, and this post is going to be looking at some of my personal favorites. My top five, in fact. Read on, and enjoy.

Music Harp Miniature
Musical Instrument
Ornament
First of all, lets celebrate the instruments that make up the music. Up above is a sweet set of glass ball bauble decorations  with a beautiful illustration of a different instrument on a musical score backdrop. Meanwhile on the right, there is a whole collection of ornaments shaped like little versions of each instrument you'd find in an orchestra, and they are just lovely. My personal favorite is the harp, mainly because the harp is my favorite instrument, but there are loads of these cute musical instrument replicas to choose from, including a trumpet, a tuba, a trombone, a saxophone, a french horn, a flute, a grand piano, and a clarinet. Shop about and you are sure to find a handful of these gorgeous ornaments that are just perfect for your tree and tastes.

Shiny Silver Treble Clef
Music Note Jingle Bell
Christmas Ornament
Next up there's the musical notes. There's something inherently artistic about their shapes with the dashes and the loops. I think that beauty is really well captured in some cute musical note themed Christmas tree ornaments. I recommend getting lots of these sweet silver musical notes to decorate your tree with, because they really look wonderful. You could even spell out your own song with them!

As well as the treble clef on the left, you can also pick up an eight and a sixteenth. You can get matching golden ones here too if you like, to inject a bit of variety. Meanwhile if you want a more colorful musical note themed ornament, check out this adorable candy cane sixteenth ornament. It looks good enough to eat!

Music Song Book Holiday Christmas Ornament
Finally, I've found some really beautiful song book and music sheet ornaments that would look amazing on their own or in combination with the other musical ornaments above. For example there's this colorful and elegant red song book, complete with little bells.

So there you have it, my top favorite musical Christmas tree decorations. I hope you liked them as much as I do. Pewter Dragon Gothic Fantasy Christmas Ornament and Holiday Decoration
Looking to create a beautiful Gothic Christmas tree to be the centerpiece of your holiday celebrations? Well look no further, because this post is going to be looking at some of my favorite Gothic tree decorations. First things first, you'll nee a tree. A good choice for a Gothic Christmas tree is an artificial black or white tree with contrasting color tinsel - black for a white tree and white or silver for a black tree.

Love Eternal Christmas Ornament
Next up you'll want lots of kooky and gorgeous Gothic ornaments to hang up, and there are a lot to choose from. I particularly like the pewter dragon featured above, it looks incredibly beautiful and are very unique looking. There's also a few antique dragon ornaments combined with traditional holiday symbols like this dragon wrapped around a candy cane and this dragon Christmas bell ornament which you can combine with the regular dragons for a great look.

In addition to this there are some great, more simplistic flat Christmas tree ornaments with Gothic phrases and designs that would look cute on any tree. The heart shaped one on the right is one of my favorites, but I also like this stripey skull tree ornament. Zazzle has a lot of this type of tree decorations, so shop around for the ones you like best and you are sure to find some awesome pieces.
You can't have a tree without baubles, and up above I've found one of my favorite choices for a Gothic bauble. I love how elaborate the pattern and the design is, it looks absolutely gorgeous. Plain black baubles, be they shiny or frosted, are also a simple and easy choice to fill up the tree's branches.

Gallery II Sweet Dream Fairy
Christmas Tree Ornament
Finally, Gothic fairies are awesome, in my humble opinion anyway. I'll probably do a whole post devoted to fairy decorations at some point, but for now I just want to draw every goth girl's attention to some of the incredibly pretty Gothic fairy ornaments out there looking for a good home.

For example there is the beautiful one on the left (which is part of a larger set of truly incredible realistic art fairies), and the more cartoon and funky fairies below which are also part of a great wider collection of colorful Goth fairies by designer Jasmine Becket Griffith. I love them to bits, and I think everyone should have at least one set on their tree!

De Carlini Candycane Italian
Glass Christmas Ornament
First up, you'll want to decorate your Christmas tree. Gingerbread tree ornaments are one of the most common Christmas tree decorations on the market, so there's a tonne of them to choose from, from classic gingerbread men to hanging gingerbread housesHere's one shaped like a dog that I love, too - and it can be personalised. Pick your favorites and go wild!

Of course, if you want some ornaments with a really personal look and feel, and that smell exactly like gingerbread...why not make your own, out of gingerbread? Check out this amazing video tutorial on how to make your very own gingerbread men ornaments. They don't go off either - I made some when I was six years old and my parents still hang it on their tree more than 15 years later. Not to mention how unbelievably cute they are!

Bucilla Felt Applique Christmas
Stocking Kit: Gingerbread House
Now that you have your tree set up, Santa needs to know where to leave your gingerbread themed goodies come Christmas eve. As well as milk and cookies, why not also leave a cute gingerbread stocking hanging above the fireplace for Father Christmas to admire? The one on the left is particularly special as you make and personalize it yourself.

So those are my favorite gingerbread themed decorations, but there's a tonne more available online and in the stores, so be sure to shop around until you find the ones that you fall in love with. Have a special gingerbread Christmas, and Happy Holidays!
Lenox 2015 Fa La La Fairy China Ornament
This is a follow up to my post on decorating your home for a Disney Princess Christmas, where we'll look at some of my favorite decorations featuring Peter Pan's Tinkerbell in all her Disney fairy glory. Fairies are a cute enough Christmas theme on their own, but when you combine that with the magic of Disney, you are sure to have something special. Plus, kids are sure to love it. Alright, lets start with decorating your tree!
To add a bit of magic to your Christmas tree, you'll need some cute Tinkerbell ornaments and baubles to hang from the branches. I love the little white ornament above, it is so cute and colorful, and the bright green bauble on the right is an easy way to add a lot of life and sparkle to an otherwise dull Christmas tree. I love the outfit Tinkerbell is wearing too, it's so adorable!

Below is another set of ornaments that I love to bits, featuring Tinkerbell in various poses and even sitting in a pretty little Christmas wreath. These three ornament and bauble sets go really well together color scheme-wise, so why not collect them all and deck out your tree into a Disney Fairy extravaganza?

Once your tree is looking lovely, you'll need some decorations for the rest of your home. Of course, ornaments are just for trees and would look lovely hanging anywhere in the house, but lets look at some other Disney Fairy decorating ideas.

Here's a really cute idea that kids are sure to love - a pretty green Tinkerbell door hanger with a soft and beautiful ribbon accent. This can go anywhere from the front door to your daughter's bedroom door handle. Its so cute!

Disney Tinkerbell & Fairy Friends
18" Felt Christmas Stocking
w/ Satin Cuff
Finally, every child (and grown-ups too!) needs a stocking to hang above the fireplace so that Santa knows where to put all the cute fairy treats and mini-gifts he's leaving for you to discover on Christmas morning. So why not pick up a sweet and soft Tinkerbell stocking? Here's a really cute and roomy one in a bold shade of purple that you are sure to love, with an elegant satin cuff to hang it up by.

So those are my favorite Disney Fairy Tinkerbell decorating ideas. If you liked this post, be sure to check out the rest of this site for most adorable themed Christmas decorating ideas to give your home that special something this holiday season.

The picture above has given me some inspiration for a themed Christmas tree - what if you could decorate your tree to look just like Father Christmas? Wouldn't that be a treat? This post is going to look at how to go about it. First up, you need the tree itself. To avoid having to wrap up a green tree in fabric like the above picture does, you could pick up an artificial red tree to use instead. Alternatively, you could use a tonne of red tinsel.
Santa Claus Head Craftsmen
Christmas Tree Topper

After that, you'll need Santa's head to sit atop his body- I mean the tree. I've included a cute Santa topper on the right that you can use - it even comes with a snowman topper that you can use if you ever want to try out a snowman themed tree - I have a post on making one of those too! An alternative is to have one of these cute Santa hat toppers as the crown of your tree.

Next up you'll need some white or silver tinsel to wrap around the bottom of the tree as the hem of Santa's suit. A cute and fluffy idea is to use a white feather boa instead, such as this six foot long white boa which is sure to fit around the base of most trees. Finally, finish off the tree with a belt around the middle to keep the suit together! This is a hard one since they don't exactly make tree sized belts, but if you tie or stitch some of your old belts together and have the one with the biggest buckle at the front, that should work great. If you want to be extra cute, why not hang a pair of shoes from the underside of the tree?

Here's a cute and funky but also classic look for a Christmas tree: the jolly snowman. Now when I say snowman themed Christmas tree, I don't mean a boring old tree covered in themed ornaments. Instead, we're going to make a snowman out of a tree, like the one above!
'Twas the Night Glittered Snowman
Head Red Hat Christmas Tree Topper

First up, you'll need an artificial white tree: here's a popular and reliable one. Once you have that, you need the snowman's head to go on the top as a tree topper. You've got two options here: you can either buy yours pre-made, and if you want to do that check out the cute head on the right, or you can make one from scratch. If you make one, be sure to check out this great blog post on how to make an amazing snowman head.  So that the topper blends in with the tree, next you want a cute red scarf to wrap around it's 'neck'. Here's a great one to check out.

Second, you'll need a set of black baubles to act as the snowman's 'buttons', which you will hang in a vertical line down the front of the tree as shown in the picture above.

Next up, either buy or make some branches to act as the snowman's arms. You can either add silver paint to branches you find outside if you live in an area with lots of nice trees, or you can pick up some pre-painted branches online and cut them to whatever size you like.

And there you have it, the basics for a snowman themed tree. If you want to go further, you can add lights, maybe a bit of silver tinsel or some cute snowflake ornaments, but remember not to go overboard. The beauty of this tree theme lies in its simplicity - if you overload it with too much stuff, it may look tacky and overdone. Otherwise, have fun with your very own snowman tree, and Merry Christmas!

Disney's Jack Skellington Ball Ornament

Nightmare Before Christmas Baubles

First up, every Halloween Town home will need a themed Christmas tree to provide the centerpiece for the look. There's lots of amazing character baubles you can use to decorate your tree, from the sweet seven pieced set above to the cartoony faces of Jack Skellington on the right. these Baubles are all quite dark in their color scheme, so contrast with a lighter colored tree and tinsel - maybe even a brightly colored artificial tree in deep red or another Gothic color. A black tree can also work very well if you use decorations with the bolder, brighter colors. That way your decorations will stand out a mile away!

Nightmare Before Christmas Ornaments

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Hinged Sally Ornament

Next up, you'll want to add some adorable ornaments to match your beautiful baubles. My favorite ornaments are a set including the gorgeous Sally ornament on the left, also containing an amazing Jack Skellington ornament. They have hinges in the limbs which mean they move like like little puppets, which I think is really cute. If you are looking for all the characters in ornament form, here are The Mayor and Oogie Boogie too! There's also a cute seven piece set featuring Jack Skellington, Sally, Zero, Shock, Lock, Barrell, and Oogie Boogie available here, if you are looking for some fun variety.

For something a little more unique and original, here are some very pretty and cool black and white striped Jack Skellington hanging bows you can add to the mix.
